McLain Foods Incorporated has a long history in the Poultry business. It began four generations ago when the family first emigrated from Ireland and settled in St. Louis, Missouri. Once there, the great-grandparents purchased agricultural products such as rabbits, calves, chickens and eggs from the local farm communities sold them in town on a daily basis. As a result of their hard work, the McLain Brothers Poultry Company family business was born. In 1965, after years of processing and distributing poultry, Joseph McLain bought the business and changed the name to Joseph C. McLain & Company, Inc. He ran the company by himself until his son Mark joined the business in 1977. In 1991, after working together for over thirteen years, the company was sold to Mark. One year later, Mark moved the company from St. Louis to St. Petersburg, Florida, where McLain Foods Inc. is currently headquartered. All of our years of experience, knowledge, and integrity in the poultry business allow us to service a wide range of satisfied customers across the country.
Matt has been with McLain Foods since 2014, with a background in finance. Matt coordinates production for our Golden Bird label by working closely with our suppliers and production teams. He handles purchasing and inventory management along with sales and production projects.

Andrea is the CFO and has been with McLain Foods Inc. since 1995. Andrea handles A/R, A/P, processing orders, adjustments, month-end processes and all inventory. Andrea is in charge of funds related issues such as ACH payments and other banking institution projects. Andrea also handles in-house freight when needed and is in charge of special projects.
